This Month's Spotlight - Jacqueline Grey
Jacqueline “Aunt Jackie” Grey was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early 40’s — during a time when there was no required reconstruction surgery for the insurance companies. Their focus was only on treatment and not the patient’s physical appearance after recovery.
Throughout her journey, Aunt Jackie demonstrated grace and elegance — despite any physical limitations her surgery caused. She witnessed so many others go through the fight, and was a beacon of hope and support for each and every person she knew suffering with the disease.
Aunt Jackie lived a long and wonderful life, and is a testament to how you can live beyond breast cancer — surviving and thriving!!!
We honor her resilience and giving spirit. She served “BeJoyfully” to the mission God gave her. We miss her, and thank God she was here for so many of us!
